America got a double-treat from the remaining four Idol hopefuls with two songs per contestant. The first was to be a song that inspired the singers and the second was a pick from the vast songbook of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.

Round one: James Durbin was playing to the crowd (and Randy Jackson who has played this song many times before) as he sang Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” encouraging all to stand up and sing along . The judges were full of praise for James. “Great song, great performance,” said Jennifer Lopez. Randy compared James’ effort to an Olympic rating, “that was the highest degree of difficulty and you did it.” Steven Tyler told James he was getting ready for what was to come.

Season six of “Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew” is the “Season of the Superstars” and, for the first time ever, each episode is themed to a popular celebrity artist. Ten new dance crews are taking the stage this season to create dances to master mixes of the artist of the week, incorporating all aspects of the artist’s style – from wardrobe, inspiration and emotion to groundbreaking choreography and skills. Special guest appearances include Ke$ha, The Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber. Themed episodes will be inspired by the hottest names in music including Rihanna, Lil Wayne and more!
“Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew” is hosted by Mario Lopez and shot on location in Los Angeles as dance crews perform their hottest moves for dance supremacy and a $100,000 cash prize. Every performance-themed episode gives insight into the crews’ emotion, spirit and inspiration as they step up to the challenge and show off their groundbreaking choreography and skills. Viewers from around the country choose their favorite crews via text messaging, phone and online voting. The two crews with the least number of votes will be up for elimination with judges making the final call on which crew will be sent home. One crew will be eliminated each week, ultimately revealing the nation’s best dance crew.
